WBO welterweight (147 pounds) champion Manny Pacquiao (51-3-2, 38 knockouts) is preparing for his HBO pay per view televised Nov. 13 clash with ex-titlist Antonio Margarito (38-6, 27 KOs) in pursuit of the vacant WBC junior middleweight (154 pounds) crown.
But in victory, would the 5-foot-6 Filipino super star then take on nearly 6-3 former three-time titlist Paul Williams (39-1, 27 KOs)?
Top Rank Promotions CEO, Bob Arum, addressed the notion of Williams, who has a Nov. 20 remacth with WBC middleweight (160 pounds) champion Sergio Martinez (45-2-2, 24 KOs). Williams won a disputed majority decision in a December bout with Martinez in which both fighters were down in the first round.
