MANILA, Philippines – The Ring Magazine, considered by boxing aficionados as the “Bible of Boxing”, has given “Fighter of the Decade” and 7-division world champion Manny Pacquiao high marks in terms of talent, achievement, marketability, support system and growth potential.
The feature article, "The Ring All-Star Report Cards: Manny Pacquiao," which was originally published in the October edition of The Ring Magazine, said Pacquiao may go down in boxing history as “the most important fighter since the Muhammad Ali era.”
The feature was written by The Ring Magazine’s Don Stradley.
The Ring Magazine gave Pacquiao A+ in terms of achievements and marketability, citing the Filipino’s conquests inside the ring, particularly his 7 titles in 7 weight classes.
It also recognized Pacquiao’s pursuits in fields other than boxing.
