Emanuel Steward gives Pacquiao much respect

I recently talked to the legendary boxing trainer Emanuel Steward, who currently trains heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, Miguel Cotto, and Andy Lee.  Steward is a legend in the sport of boxing so his words have merit and should be taken seriously.

In our conversation, Steward talked about the amazing accomplishments of Pacquiao and how he has impacted the sport.  Winning seven division world titles is not something that happens every day in boxing.  Emanuel spoke to me about these  accomplishments a few days ago, "What he has done in this sport is amazing, nothing short of it.  He has been able to climb up the weight divisions and fight the best and beat the best."

Steward also expressed great disappointment that the boxing fans are not getting the fights that they want to see, and he took a shot at the promoters for putting together fights that they want to see, and not what the fans want to see, " Hopefully in 2011 the fans will get to see some fights that they want to see.  Manny Pacquiao Vs.
